Dorothy "Dot" Weddington

McMinnville resident and Cullman, AL native Dorothy "Dot" Weddington, age 82, was born August 21, 1931 and died September 4, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired clerk with Fred's and member of Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Fritz Mueller and the late Hilda Stacey Shepard. She was married October 15, 1949 to Ernest Edward Weddington who preceded her in death January 24, 1996. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy E. Weddington; brother, Clifford Mueller and sister, Sandy Mueller. Mrs. Weddington is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Charlotte Weddington of McMinnville; two brothers, Carl Mueller and Winfred Mueller both of Ohio; sister, Doris Mueller of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and her spiritual family at Morrison Church of Christ. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 in High's Chapel with Roger Comstock officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at High's. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boyd Christian School c/o High's.
