Glyndia Joyce Dodson

Glyndia Joyce Dodson, age 65, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born November 10, 1947 and died September 10, 2013 surrounded by her family at her residence. She was a retired United Methodist Minister and daughter of the late Charles Lilbern and Pauline Neal Prater. She was married August 5, 2000 to Larry A. Bass, Jr. who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Jennifer Dodson Densteadt of McMinnville, son and daugher-in-law, James Jason & Melanie Dodson of Rock Island, TN; grandchildren, Joshua Densteadt and fiancee, Holly Pack and Hannah Densteadt and fiance Ryan Waters of McMinnville, TN; Torri Dodson and Ella Dodson of Rock Island, TN; great-grandchild, McKensie Densteadt; four step-children, Larry Bass, III, Dan Bass, Michael Bass and De'an Bass; 4 step-grandchildren, Rachael, Alissa, Alex and Zach; one step-great-grandchild, Luna Aurora; brother, Tim Prater of McMinnville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy & Bill Higginbotham of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Randy & Joann Bass of Florida and Bill & Lanette Bass of Alabama; sisters-in-law, Juanita Bass and Frances Bass of Nashville, TN and many cousins whom she loved dearly. A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013 at New Union United Methodist Church. Paul Roberts, Tim Lewis and James Johnson will officiate. Memorials may be made to the New Union Cemetery Fund or Gideon Bibles.
