Hatilene English

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Hatilene English, age 80, was born October 29, 1932 and died September 19, 2013 at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital in Michigan. She graduated from Tennessee State University with the Class of 1955. She was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. of the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of 1953. She taught thirty-two years in the Roseville Elementary School District, and became a member of the AFL-CIO and the AFT. Her hobbies included reading, bowling and community service, where she was an active member of the Democratic Political Party. She was a member of East End Dr. Church of Christ. Ms. English was preceded in death by parents, Vonzo and Mary Ella Durham Savage. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd Lusk and Sandra Lawrence-Lusk, Hugh Lusk, Dwayne and Dana Lusk and Frank English; five grandsons, Curtis, Hugh, Bobby, Kristopher and Daniel; seven granddaughters, Tyffanie, Summer, Martha, Kristin, Amber, Marie and Wynter; and great-grandson, Jakob. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at East End Dr. Church of Christ with Bro. George King, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
