McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Ethel Mae Curtis, age 92, was born May 5, 1921 and died September 26, 2013 at Raintree Manor following a brief illness. Retired from Rockford Textiles and a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Uriah and Minnie Lou Groves Curtis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Pauline Beasley Gillis; and brothers, Jess, Lloyd, Ernest, Abe and Joe Curtis and John Roberts. She is survived by sister, Ollie Walker of Plano, IL; special niece and caregiver, Noeldean Talbott; special nephew, Danny Johnson and wife Donna; special cousin, Eva Sue Bouldin; nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Bill, Glen, Joe, Tom, Don, Klint and Kristy Curtis, Regina Farley, Betty Jo Paris, Howard Roberts, Betty Hunter, Mary Lou Duncan and Paul Walker; special great-nieces and great-nephews, Barbara Dunlap, Tammy Cline, Dale Talbott and Kevin Talbott; and special great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Cory Cline, Mary Talbott, William Talbott and Charlie Talbott. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 in High's Chapel with Stan Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Sunday at High's.
