Joyce Ann Rutledge

Joyce Ann Rutledge, age 71, a Knoxville, TN resident and native was born March 9, 1942 and died September 28, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late Earl and Aline Romines Messer. She was married to Tol Rutledge who preceded her in death May 12, 1993. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Bobby Davison and brother, James Messer. Mrs. Rutledge is survived by son, Ollie Messer of Knoxville, TN; daughter-in-law, Sandra Davison Hensley of Cookeville, TN; two grandchildren, Tol James Davison, Baxter, TN and Rebcca Ann Myers of Cookeville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Anthony Tyson, Jr. and Carli Davison of Baxter, TN; Bobby Myers and Leeland Myers of Cookeville, TN. Graveside service and interment will be 5:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2013 in Friendship Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
