Sherry Darlene Grissom

Sherry Darlene Grissom, age 51, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born November 13, 1961 and passed at her home September 30, 2013 surrounded by family following an illness of thirteen months. She was self employed in nursery work, member of Sunny Hills Baptist Church and daughter of the late Foster and Lucille Young Turner, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Cassandra Walling. She was married November 29, 2004 to Hans W. Grissom who survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Jennifer Walling and Amanda Snider of McMinnville, TN; two sons, Josh (Nikki) Walling of Rock Island, TN and Brent (Khristina) Walling of McMinnville, TN; four step-sons, Josh Grissom, Nashville, TN; Jay Grissom, McMinnville, TN; Brian Grissom, Waco, TX and Jimmy Walling of Michigan; sixteen grandchildren, five brothers, Jim Turner of Michigan; Kenny, Rick, Tom and Foster Turner, Jr. all of McMinnville, TN, three sisters, Dot Sullivan and Brenda Roberts of McMinnville, TN and Mary Sewell of Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral service will be 12:00 (Noon) Thursday, October 3, 2013 in High's Chapel with John Jones, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Armstrong Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
