Donnie Lee Mason

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Donnie Lee Mason, age 82, was born July 7, 1931 and died November 2, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Amon and Wavie Marie Priest McCormick. She was married to Franklin D. Mason who preceded her in death January 16, 2008. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Chuck, Marvin, June, Roy, Yuvon and Harvey McCormick. Mrs. Mason is survived by three children and their spouses, Carol Lee Crouch of Smartt, TN and Peggy and Michael Woods and Walter and Roxann Blair both of McMinnville; six grandchildren, James (Jeanette) Crouch of Smartt, TN, Michael E. Woods, Jr., Leisha C. Hillis, Stephanie Lee Ann (Tony) Fults and Jessica Mae Linares all of McMinnville and Shannon RayE (Wade) Bellflower of Hampton, VA; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Luther McCormick of McMinnville; four sisters, Melvie Blair, Linda Faye Holder Carolyn Sue Goforth and Nova Ann Blair all of McMinnville; two step-sons, Kenny Mason and Dwight Mason both of Quebeck, TN and step-daughter, Kathy Mason Eaton of Collierville, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 in High's Chapel with Tyree Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Jericho Cemetery in White County, TN. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
