Frank Lee Hobbs

Altamont, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Frank Lee Hobbs, age 82 was born August 2, 1931 and died suddenly November 11, 2013 at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, TN. Retired from the Forestry service and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he was the son of the late Frank and Vivian Smartt Hobbs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ira Hartley, Leslie, Earl and Glen Hobbs; and sister, Edith Hobbs. He is survived by a sister, Willie Mae Carr of Altamont, TN; nieces, nephews and cousins; and sister-in-law, Frances Hobbs of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 in High's Chapel with Bishop Aaron Barrett officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
