Sandra Lynn Akers

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Sandra Lynn Akers, age 51, was born July 2, 1962 and died suddenly November 22, 2013 at River Park Hospital. A former employee of Calsonic and a member of Northside Baptist Church, she was the daughter of Polly Woodlee and William "Red" Akers both of McMinnville. She was preceded in death by step-father, Ralph Woodlee; and special friend, Freda Lynn Guy. In addition to her mother and father, she is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan and Joey Criddle of McMinnville and Kathy and Ron Neale of McMinnville; brother, Blake Woodlee of Murfreesboro, TN; niece, Renee Stovall (Mauro Ponce) of McMinnville; two nephews and their wives, John and Leslie Neale of McMinnville and Chris and Hilary Neale of McMinnville; and special friends, Richard Denton and Sethly Hodges and Family all of McMinnville. A private graveside service and inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 in Mt. View Cemetery. There will be no visitation at High's.
