Rhonda Faye Cummings

Rock Island, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native Rhonda Faye Cummings, age 42, was born March 10, 1971 and died November 25, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Sparta, TN following a three-month illness. A member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Ray Cummings of Rock Island, TN and the late Florence "Donnie" King Cummings. In addition to her father, she is survived by brother, John Cummings of Rock Island, TN; sister, Joyce Cummings of Rock Island, TN; aunts, Alice Watson of Pikeville, TN, Evelyn Roberts of the Tarleton Community, Charlene King of Beersheba Springs, TN and Edith Cummings of Rock Island, TN; and several cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 in High's Chapel with Rick Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's. Contributions may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
