Dorothy Jean "Dot" Lynn

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Dorothy Jean "Dot" Lynn, age 75, was born November 11, 1938 and died December 3, 2013 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. A retired office manager with David C. Lynn, Jr., C.P.A. and attended the First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late James Logan and Ola Irene Meadows Gribble. She was married to David C. Lynn, Jr. who preceded her in death November 30, 2005. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Nancy Watts. She is survived by daughter, Zanda J. Lynn and husband Jim Daigle of New York, NY; son, Alan Lynn and wife Paula of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Parker and Tucker Lynn both of McMinnville and Catherine "Cat" Daigle of New York, NY; sister-in-law, Barbara Sue McCue of Richmond, VA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John A. and Roma Lynn of Virginia Beach, VA; niece, Susan Burns and husband Bruce of Asheville, NC; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2013 in High's Chapel with John May officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Saturday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to Meals On Wheels.
