Bobby Wilcher

Rock Island, TN resident and Warren County native Bobby Wilcher, age 73, was born August 30, 1940 and died December 13, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN following a brief illness. The retired owner of K&W Nursery and Triple W Nursery and member of New Union United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Herbert Lymon and Sarah Evelyn Bouldin Wilcher. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cornelius Buckner and Loretta Hillis and two brothers, Raymond and Billy Wilcher. Mr. Wilcher was married April 18, 1959 to Mary Fern Wilcher of Rock Island, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Mark Locke of Rock Island, TN; three grandsons, Thomas Fields and Tyler Fields both of Rock Island, TN and Eli Locke of Christiana, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Clayton and Barbara Wilcher of Rock Island, TN; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Collier and Gerlinde Rogers and special friend, Leo. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 in High's Chapel with Tim Lewis and Rick Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in the New Union Cemetery on Hwy. 30. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
