James Haston Walker, Sr.

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native James Haston Walker, Sr., age 77, was born August 28, 1936 and died December 17, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. The owner of Manchester Wholesale Supply Company, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Mattie Haston Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Audrey Walker. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Krystal Walker, Jr. of McMinnville and Derrell Ray and Melinda Walker of Morrison, TN; four granddaughters and spouses, Kelah and John Guthrie of Manchester, TN, Ciara Walker of Morrison, TN, Twan Majors of the Irving College Community and Jessica and Matt Matkin of Jacksonville, FL; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Spencer Town Cemetery, Van Buren County, TN with Saul Eady, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to the Morrison Elementary School Basketball Team.
