Jessie Grant Craven

Grant Craven, 64, died in his home on December 18, 2013 after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe Craven and Bessie Mae Anderson Craven, and brother Jimmy Craven. Grant was a member of Westwood Church of Christ and was was a loving husband of 32 years to Carla Craven. He loved spending time with his family, woodworking, fishing, Nascar, muscle cars, traveling, and was a wonderful Grandfather, or "Mamps", to nine grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Liz (Floyd) Talley of Colorado, and Margret McBride of McMinnville; three daughters Angel (John) Raulerson, Darla (Mark) Seymour, and Deana (Mike) Jones all of McMinnville; two sons, Troy Craven of McMinnville and Shane (Stephanie) Craven of Sparta. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Evan & Aaron Jones, Sloan & Sawyer Seymour, Jessie Craven, Marino Raulerson, Sara Turner, Allison Turner, & Emily Craven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19th at High Funeral Home, and funeral services will be held at Westwood Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Coy Hathcock will officiate. There will be no visitation prior to funeral service on Friday.
