Clarence Brown Russell

Indianapolis, IN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Clarence Brown Russell, age 83, was born July 30, 1930 and died January 19, 2014 at his residence. A retired driver for Pike Township Transportation, a United States Army veteran of Korea, and a member of Calvary Tabernacle Church in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of the late William and Clara West Russell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Yager. He was married to Mary Whittaker Russell of Indianapolis, IN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Christine Rogers of Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 in High's Chapel with Edsel Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
