Daniel Wayne Seamons, Sr.

Daniel Wayne Seamons, Sr., age 68, a Doyle, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native died January 25, 2014 at his residence following a lingering illness. He was the son of the late Niles Roland and Kathleene Harris Seamons, a self employed logger and member of Harmony Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Billy Seamons and sister-in-law, Louise Seamons. Mr. Seamons was married September 20, 1968 to Connie Thaxton Seamons who survives. He is also survived by son, Daniel Wayne (Tammy) Seamons, Jr. of Bone Cave, TN; daughter, Renee (Charles) Guy of Spencer, TN; four grandchildren, Dakota (Cierston) Seamons, Dustin (Chelsie) Guy and Dillon Guy of Spencer and Daniel Wayne Seamons, III of Doyle, TN; two great-grandchildren Raylon Seamons and Trinity Guy; one brother, Sam (June) Seamons of Bone Cave, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Harmony Church of Christ with Bob McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the McElroy Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2014 and 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.
