McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Robert "Bob" Dudley Chisam, age 82, was born December 22, 1931 and died February 17, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired gas attendant with Lester's Service Station in Painesville, OH and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Bernice James and Mallie Rankhorn Chisam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Bryan Chisam and James Wilbur Chisam; and three half-brothers, Billy Jene Chisam, Roosevelt Chisam and John Chisam. He was married to Janet "Jan" Chisam of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Karen Kay and Elmer Lee Davidson of Valls Creek, WV; granddaughter, Sheri Davidson of Valls Creek, WV; half-brother, Charles Chisam and wife Shirley of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Susan and Eddie McCormick of Bone Cave, TN; Joyce and Doug Keener of Morrison, TN; Beth and Kevin Woodlee of McMinnville; Kathy and Ricky Priest of McMinnville; James and Loretta Chisam of Spencer, TN, Denna and Justin Byrd of Springfield, VA and Jeffery and Sandra Short of Springfield, VA; great-nieces and great-nephews, Anastasia, Kimberly and John Chisam; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Clifford and Betty Short of Springfield, VA. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in High's Chapel with Michael Gass officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bybee Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
