Sallie Bryan

Sallie R.E. Bryan, age 89, a Vicksburg, MS resident and Warren County, TN native died February 21, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS following an extended illness. Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late John Riley and Izzie Arnettie Gilley Barnes. She was a homemaker and member of Charles Creek The Baptist Church. She wrote numerous songs and prayers and sang her songs in Church. She was married to Edward Kermit Bryan, Sr. who preceded her in death April 22, 1980. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Bonnie Hollandsworth; brothers, Robert "Dick" and James Thurman "Bud" Barnes; grandson, Kyle Adcock and great-grandson, Maddox Brink. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Mickey Adcock, McMinnville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Roger Flatt, Madison, MS; son and daughter-in-law, Edward & Julie Bryan, Vicksburg, MS; daughter and son-in-law, Lanora and Jim Morrow, Little Rock AR; son, Leslie Bryan, Prescott Valley, AZ; twelve grandchildren, Jessica Page, Tyler Adcock, Caleb Bryan, Leah Ziedeil, Katie Ryan, Scott Bryan, John Riley Bryan, Terri Hunt, Allison Williams, Ralph Brink, Shane Bryan and Clint Bryan; seventeen great-grandchildren, Carter Adcock, Journee Page, Anniston Page, Beau Page, Scarlett Ryan, Melodyanna Ziedeil, Megan Garner, Emily Hunt, Adam Kirkpatrick, Zachery Kirkpatrick, Logan Williams, Ashleigh Brink, Carson Brink, Kayanna Bryan, Jake Bryan, Cody Bryan and Sean Bryan. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in High's Chapel with Nick Pelham officiating. Interment will follow in the Fountain Grove Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at High's.
