Leonard Luther Martin

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Leonard Luther Martin, age 63, was born November 26, 1950 and died March 2, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A nursery worker with Martin Brothers Nursery and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Mort and Willie Roberts Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky and Donnie Martin and sister, JoAnn Nelson. Mr. Martin is survived by four sisters, Sherry Duggin, Dorothy Lane, Patsy Jones and Peggy Martin all of McMinnville; six brothers, James B. Martin, of Morrison, TN, Tony Martin of Smithville, TN, Eddie Martin of Rock Island, TN, Ernest Martin of the Centertown Community, Billy Joe Martin of Manchester, TN and Marcus Martin of McMinnville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with Rick Basham officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses.
