Bobby Fred Ramsey

Brentwood, TN resident and Warren County native Bobby Fred Ramsey, age 77, was born June 18, 1936 and died March 2, 2014 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. A retired Certified Public Accountant with Ramsey and Associates, United States Navy veteran and member of the Grace Church in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Robert and Ethel Barrett Ramsey. He was married to Bettye Ruth Moore Ramsey who preceded him in death January 16, 2008. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thorold and Cordell Ramsey; niece, Graelyn Womack and nephew, Patrick Ramsey. Mr. Ramsey is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Dartlan) Anderson of Brentwood, TN and Beth (Glenn) Hardeman of Thompson Station, TN; nine grandchildren; brother, Paul (Sarah) Ramsey of Cookeville, TN; sisters, Melinda (Sam) Womack and Robbie Davis both of McMinnville and Wanda (James) Dexter of Cookeville, TN; sister-in-law, Notie Ramsey of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in High's Chapel with Lindell Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery with full military honors administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at High's.
