George Stephen Leverett

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native George Stephen Leverett, age 57, was born January 3, 1957 and died March 3, 2014 following a sudden illness. A construction worker, he was the son of the late George G. and Ada G. Leath Leverett. He is survived by two sons, Brandon Steve Leverett and Chad Stephen Leverett both of McMinnville; special companion, Tina Darlene Walls of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Frankie Leverett of McMinnville; four sisters and brother-in-law, Helen and Charles Anderson, Carol Estes, Bobbye McCormick and Jo Ann Leverett all of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Glenda Witty of Smithville, TN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was a loving husband and father, and an avid NASCAR fan. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 in High's Chapel with Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's.
