Michael Paul Thaxton

Marietta, GA resident and Warren County native Michael Paul Thaxton, age 54, was born January 23, 1960 and died March 10, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness.A country club food service manager and home healthcare of his father, and a member of the Methodist Church, he was the son of Theodore B. Thaxton, Sr. of Marietta, GA and June Thaxton Lindimore of Raleigh, NC.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Thaxton is survived by a brother, Theodore B. Thaxton, Jr. of Suwanee, GA;  three nieces, Jessica Marie Smith, Katie Thaxton and Lindsey Thaxton all of Georgia;  uncle, Ben Thaxton of McMinnville and cousins, Sara Jean Thaxton of McMinnville, Celia George of Ohio and Clay Thaxton of North Carolina.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 in High's Chapel with Rev. Frank Gale officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday at High's.
