Lois Rabon

Lois Rabon, age 90, a McMinnville, TN resident and Walton County, FL native died March 17, 2014 in the Harton Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.  She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist Church and daughter of the late John Shoven and Mittie Melinda Nowling Gavin.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Sonny Casey; son-in-law, Pete Maloy; grandsons Gary Maloy and Foster Maloy and granddaughter, Betty Carol Robinson. Mrs. Rabon was married August 9, 1957 to Carl William Rabon who survives.  In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mary Carolyn Maloy of Ocala, FL and Linda Diane (Thomas) Turvin of Ashford, AL; one son, Dennis Marvin (Lois Ann) Casey of Viola, TN; daughter-in-law, Betty Casey of Walton County, FL; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.Funeral service and interment will be 12 (NOON) Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Viola Cemetery.  Family members will officiate.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12 (NOON) Saturday at High's.
