Zada Daphene Coppinger

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Zada Daphene Coppinger, age 81, was born November 29, 1932 and died April 6, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.A retired Chairperson with the Davidson County March of Dimes and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Marilda Curtis.  She was married to Phillip Wayne Coppinger who preceded her in death June 3, 2011.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Phillip Coppinger and three sisters, Mary Betty Christian, Leoma Clendenon and Ollie Mai Walker.Mrs. Coppinger is survived by one son, Phillip Wayne Coppinger, Jr. of San Diego, CA;  three granddaughters, Brittanie Marie Coppinger Dycus of White Bluff, TN, Valerie Celeste Coppinger DeLaby of Donelson, TN and Alyssa Nycole Coppinger Young of Mt. Juliet, TN;  four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Logan and Kaylee;  sister, Lois Grove of McMinnville and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in High's Chapel with Tim Farris officaiting.  Burial will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at High's.
