Sarah Elizabeth Martin

Sarah Elizabeth Martin, age 83, a McMinnville, TN resident and native died April 3, 2014 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital, Nashville, TN following a sudden illness.She was a domestic worker, member of the East End Drive Church of Christ and daughter of the late James Restine and Vinetta Savage Ramsey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James Edward Martin October 5, 1995 and son, James Edward Martin, Jr.Mrs. Martin is survived by son, Robert L. (Maggie) Martin of Tullahoma, TN; daughter, Roxanna Martin (Fredrick) Franklin of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Robert Lewis Martin, II, and Stacey Rochelle Lowe of Tullahoma, TN; Laura Ashely, Franklin, TN and Lauren Adrienne Franklin of Nashville; 1 great-granddaughter, Maverity Pazlee Lowe of Tullahoma; two sisters-in-law, Betty Jane Ramsey of McMinnville and Dorothy Ramsey of Sarasota, FL; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; East End Drive Church of Christ family, particularly helpful friends, Fannie Biles, Mary Wilson, Jessie Ramsey; Paulla Jackson, Maggie Locke, Rita Ramsey, Rochelle Ramsey and Eva Savage.Funeral service will be 12:00 (NOON) Saturday, April 12, 2014 in High's Chapel with George King, Jr. to officiate.  Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory.  Visitation will be one (1) hour prior to service at High's.
