Karl William Ramsey

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Karl William Ramsey, age 64, was born February 26, 1950 and died April 5, 2014 at Alvin C. York V.A Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN following an extended illness.A retired employee of Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Clyde William and Sarah Jean Savage Ramsey.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Wayne Ramsey.Mr. Ramsey is survived by two sisters, Vicki (Mitchell) Biles of Jackson, TN and Rita Ramsey  of McMinnville;  two nieces, Cherlisa (Gabriel) Reynolds of Fayetteville, NC and Chernae (Tavarius) Anderson of Jackson, TN;  two nephews, Chris Biles of Nashville, TN and Torrell Ramsey of Lavergne, TN;  three great-nieces, Jaden, Brianna and Gabrielle all of Fayetteville, NC;  great-nephew, Adrian Anderson of Jackson, TN and two step-children, Corey Brown of Nashville, TN and Heather Brown of Murfreesboro, TN.A graveside memorial service and inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Gardens of Memory with Robert Bonner officiating.  Full military honors will be administered by the VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
