Aaron White

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Aaron White, age 93, was born August 23, 1920 and died April 20, 2014 at his residence.  The retired owner and operator of Triangle Service Station, United States Navy veteran of WWII and member of First Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Lynnville and Lula Hale White.  He was married to Margaret Louise Van Hooser White who preceded him in death June 12, 2010.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Naomi Sanders, Jodie Cantrell, Elsie Braswell, Bessie Wright and Georgia Judkins.Mr. White is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Linda White, Jr. of Lake Lure, NC;  daughter and son-in-law, Lynne and Charles Jacobs of McMinnville;  grandsons and wives, Stan and Sherry Jacobs of McMinnville, Roger and Marcy Jacobs of Murfreesboro, TN, Greg and Susan White of North Carolina and Gavin and Lindsay White of South Carolina and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Cooper and Miles Jacobs, Andrew Duke and Coleman White.A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Riverside Cemetery with Ricky Minton officiating.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at High's.
