Jerry Bennett Watson

McMinnville resident and Charleston, SC native Jerry Bennett Watson, age 70, was born November 10, 1943 and died May 9, 2014 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following a sudden illness. A mail clerk with the Tennessee Department of Revenue and member of First United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Lillie Ruth Floyd Watson. Mr. Watson is survived by a brother, Thomas C. Watson of Brentwood, TN; niece, Susan W. (Wesley) Peck of Mt. Juliet, TN and nephew, Mark L. Watson of Medina, TN. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 in High's Chapel with Rev. Bob Case and Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bascom Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 11:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
