Edna Pennington

McMinnville resident and Ogden, KS native Edna Pennington, age 82, was born December 19, 1931 and died May 14, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Garland and Mary Weeks Powers. She was married to Ret. U.S. Army Sgt. Millard James Pennington who preceded her in death January 29, 1973. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, James Travis Bouldin and son-in-law, Arzy Ralph Bouldin. Mrs. Pennington is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Judy Pennington of Gallatin, TN, Doug and Sandy Pennington of Florida and Don Pennington of McMinnville; three daughters, Tina Pennington, Cindy Bouldin and June McCarty all of McMinnville; step-daughter, Charlotte Baumann of Germany; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 First United Methodist Church with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Trousdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Friday at First United Methodist Church.
