Linda Kay Reed

Linda Kay Reed, age 68, a Morrison, TN resident and Painesville, OH native was born September 3, 1945 and died May 23, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company, member of the Pioneer Community Church and daughter of the late Isabelle Kelly Fleming and Charles Gatchel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-mother, Emma Gatchel; brother, Neil Gatchel; sister, Carolyn Randall and step-brother, Jerry Webb. Ms. Reed is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Danny) Hullett and Tracy (Roy) Esmeyer of McMinnville; two sons, Bobby Wellman and Rusty Wellman of McMinnville; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; step-father, Herbert Fleming of Morrison; sister, Elizabeth Murphree of Alabama; step-sister, Carol Fults, McMinnville; step-brother, Jimmy Webb of Morrison; several nieces and nephews; best friend of 60+ years, Yvonne White of West Virginia and special friends from the Garment Company. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 25, 2014 in High's Chapel with Jon Ballard to officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and 10:00 A.M. Sunday until time of service at High's.
