Carolyn Fay Butcher

Carolyn Fay Butcher, age 66, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born November 5, 1947 and died May 28, 2014 at her residence following a lingering illness. She was a housewife and caregiver, member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late Thurman and Ella M. Gibbs Farless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Bobby R. Farless. She was married March 24, 1966 to Paul Butcher who survives. She is also survived by son, Paul (Kim) Butcher, Jr. of McMinnville, TN; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katherine (Tom) Bouldin of McMinnville and Wanda (Glenn) Richardson of Beersheba Springs, TN; brother, J.P. (Tina) Farless of Rock Island, TN, sister-in-law, Starr Farless of Rock Island, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2014 in High's Chapel with Bob McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in the Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday and 9:00 A.M. Saturday until time of service at High's.
