Robert "Bobby" Winton

Robert Eugene "Bobby" Winton, age 81, a McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy County, TN native died May 29, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness. He was a retired electrician with A.E.D.C., member of Christ Community Church and son of the late Ralph L. and Bessie McGregor Winton. He was married January 2, 1954 to Mary Evelyn Spangler Winton who preceded him in death May 9, 2013. Mr. Winton is survived by son, Tim (Dawn) Winton of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Griffin, Kendall, Connor and Grace Winton; brother, Dan Winton of Florida and sister Della McKinney of Winchester, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Christ Community Church with Paul Roberts to officiate. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday until time of service at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kids of the Community.
