John Edwin Hobbs

John Edwin Hobbs, age 65, a McMinnville, TN resident and Lincoln County, TN native died June 3, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following an extended illness. He was an employee of Ashland Oil Company, member of the Church of Christ and son of the late Charles Edwin Hobbs and Helen Alverine Severt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother. Mr. Hobbs is survived by children and spouses, Shannan & Kevin Clark, Shelley Underwood and Joshua & Robyn Hobbs all of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Kasey Underwood, Cheyenne Clark, Zech Clark, Sydney Hobbs, Shelby Clark and Izzy Hobbs; great-granddaughter, Harlow Ferro; sister Dana Allen of Las Vegas, NV; nephew, Dustin Allen and niece, Hanna Hillman. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 7, 2014 in High's Chapel with Kevin Clark to officiate. Interment will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday in Lynchburg Cemetery in Moore County, TN. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday at 10:00 A.M. until time of service at High's.
