Mildred S. Bailey

Mildred S. Bailey, age 74, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died July 3, 2014 at her residence following an unexpected illness. She was a retired teacher with the Warren County School System, member of Central Church of Christ and daughter of the late Arnold Matt and Frances Mae Scott Brewer, Jr. She was married November 29, 1957 to Hugh Edward Bailey who preceded her in death October 6, 1997. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Louis Arnold Bailey and Major William Edward Bailey and brother, Arnold Matt Brewer, Jr. Mrs. Bailey is survived by daughters Lillian (Mark) Fox of Crossville, TN and Delia (Jimmy) Walker of McMinnville; four grandchildren Lauren (Erik) Bergvin and Mason Fox of Crossville, TN, Rachel (Brian) Wyatt of Pikeville, TN and Alex Walker of McMinnville; brother, Emanuel (Mary Jo) Brewer of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service and interment will be 3:30 P.M. Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ben Bailey to officiate. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Reading Project of Warren County, c/o High Funeral Home.
