Nolan Evans

Nolan Evans, age 94, a McMinnville, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native died July 12, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired auto mechanic with Bob Frensley Ford and member of the Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Ed and Winnie VanWinkle Evans. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son, Ronnie Evans and brother, Eston Evans. Mr. Evans was married June 28, 1941 to Beulah Gilbert Evans who survives. He is also survived by daughter and son-in-law, Opale and Billy Campbell of Smartt, TN; three grandchildren, Ron and Teresa Evans, Clearwater, Fl, Patty and Bill Rife, and Tammy and Roger Byars of McMinnville; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in High's Chapel With Scotty Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday, July 15, 2014 and 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of service at High's.
