Margaret Frances Higgins

Margaret Frances Higgins, age 88, a Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died July 13, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a retired employee of Formfit Rogers, member of Ivy Bluff Church of Christ and daughter of the late Floyd and Selmer Davenport Hillis. She was married February 20, 1944 to Ernest Gray Higgins who preceded her in death December 26, 2008. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brother, Willard Hillis and sister, Virginia Hillis. Mrs. Higgins is survived by children, Wanda (Charles) Gann, Beverly (Larry) Garrett of Morrison, TN and Wayne (Sally) Higgins of Park City, UT; three grandchildren, Laura (Kevin) Mingle of McMinnville, Randy (Heather) Davis, Memphis, TN and Holly (Keith) Bain of Morrison; five great-grandchildren, Connor and Peyton Davis, Morgan, Allison and Ava Mingle; five sisters-in-law, Ora Rains, Brenda (Jimmy) Tate, Linda Moore, Jackie Higgins all of Woodbury, TN and Iva Higgins of McMinnville; nephew, John David (Catherine) Hillis of Round Hill, VA. Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in High's Chapel with Kenneth Mears and Brian Reed to officiate. Interment will follow in the Ivy Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday and 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of service at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lunch With Love Program at Ivy Bluff Church of Christ or the Benevolent Fund at Morrison Church of Christ.
