Leland Andrew Norris, III

Old Hickory, TN resident and Memphis, TN native Leland Andrew Norris, III, age 59, was born March 3, 1955 and died August 5, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness. A videographer and United States Coast Guard veteran, he was the son of the late Leland Andrew and Dora Hayden Henegar Norris, Jr. He is survived locally by aunt, Sara Henegar Moore & several cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Andrew and Robert Hayden Norris; maternal grandparents, John Bernard and Sallie Stroud Henegar and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Andrew Norris, Sr. He attended the church of Christ. A memorial graveside service and inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Mt. View Cemetery with Tyree Smith officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
