Earl Thomas Adams

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Earl Thomas Adams, age 70, was born March 15, 1944 and died August 8, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Commercial Painting, Inc. in Nashville, TN and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Lonnie and Ozelle McCormick Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bryson Adams and sister, Evelyn Harville. He was married to Cindy Adams of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Earl Thomas Adams, Jr. (Penny), Mark Anthony Adams (Jenny) and Chad Wayne Jones (Jill) all of McMinnville; daughter, Tammy Shaw (Joey) of Leesburg, AL; special daughter, Vickie Jones of McMinnville; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Wilburn (Ray) of Beechgrove, TN and Glenda Faye Walker of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law, Houston and Billie Jo Hobbs of McMinnville; Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law, Sally and Jim Sistrunk of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 in High's Chapel with Tony Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and 8:00 a.m. until time of service Monday at High's.
