James Willard Smartt

McMinnville resident and Warren County native James Willard Smartt, age 51, was born February 23, 1963 and died August 8, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A nursery worker and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Willard and Barbara O'Neal Smartt. Mr. Smartt was married to Pam Smartt of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three step-children, April (Jason) Todd of McMinnville, Andy (Kim) Womack of Morrison, TN and Ashley Moon of Daytona Beach, FL; six step-grandchildren, Madison Todd, Kyle Todd, Jase Todd, Ashlan Reed, Maddie Moon and Trey Womack; two aunts, Jane Lewis and Lois McCormick both of McMinnville; several cousins; special sister-in-law, Shirley (Pokie) George of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, June (Butch) Fults of the Centertown Community and Linda (Paul) Byford of Smithville, TN and brother-in-law, Marty (Donna) Muncey of McMinnville. There will be no services at this time.
