Monroe Eugene Dixon

Monroe Eugene Dixon, age 75, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died August 26, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. He was the owner of Kingwood Foodland, member of the Baptist Church and son of the late James William and Lillie Vera Hodges Dixon. He was married to Randy Jane Taylor Dixon who preceded him in death August, 1995. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Elbert Dixon. Mr. Dixon is survived by niece, Faye (Steve) Breedlove of Rock Island, TN; great-nephew, Brent Breedlove and great-great-niece Brittany Breedlove, both of Rock Island; brother, Bobby Dixon of McMinnville and special friend, Barbara Grissom of Rock Island. Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. until time of service at High's.
