Hope Clark

Rock Island, TN resident Hope Clark, age 89, was born December 1, 1924 and died August 29, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired secretary with Firestone Tire and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Mae Stanley Haston. She was married to Clifford Ray Clark who preceded her in death May 17, 1994. In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gwendolyn Clark. Mrs. Clark is survived by a daughter, Jane Webb of McMinnville; granddaughter Dara (Kenneth) Johnson of McMinnville and two great-grandchildren, Hunter James Johnson and Kerrigan Hope Johnson. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 in High's Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 p.m. until time of service Sunday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Senior Center c/o High's.
