Edwin Ray Farless

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Edwin Ray Farless, age 80, was born November 5, 1933 and died September 7, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Carrier Corporation, United States Navy veteran and member of First Assembly of God, he was the son of the late Richmond and Clara Lee Emberton Farless. Mr. Farless was married July 2, 1956 to Edna Campbell Farless of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jackie Heatherly and Elaine Stacy both of Mt. Juliet, TN; five grandchildren, David Fults, Jr., Tim Fults, Josh Grissom and Callie and Leslie Heatherly and three great-grandchildren, Hannah Fults, Baylee Fults and Kyndall Grissom. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2014 in High's Chapel with Sammy Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery with full military honors administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
