Doris Marie Powell Julian Cantrell

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Doris Marie Powell Julian Cantrell, age 89, was born March 17, 1925 and died September 7, 2014 at her residence following and extended illness. Retired from Jesse Powell Garage and a member of Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Hearl and Mildred Stepp Powell. She was married to first husband, Morris N. Julian who preceded her in death; and second husband, James W. Cantrell who preceded her in death, and was the founder and co-owner of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in 1950. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Gary Neal Julian; and baby brother, Jewell Haden Powell. She is survived by very special caregivers, Gail Campbell and Lois Rigsby both of McMinnville. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at High's.
