Doris Noelene Wanamaker

Doris Noelene Wanamaker, age 85, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died September 15, 2014 at NHC Healthcare, McMinnville. She was a retired payroll clerk with Warren County Schools, member of the First Baptist Church, McMinnville and daughter of the late Basil Noel and Mary Louise Turner Johnson. She was married to Floyd Preston Wanamaker who preceded her in death January 22, 1998. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Thomas and Bobbie Mayes and brother, Billy Joe Johnson. Mrs. Wanamaker is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Boyce & Karen Wanamaker of Columbia, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the First Baptist Church with Bo Hendrix and Mark Karki to officiate. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2014 and 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Thursday at High's. Memorials may be made to Meals On Wheels or Warren County Humane Society.
