Violet Rose Meadows

Smithville, TN resident and Painesville, OH native Violet Rose Meadows, age 74, was born February 8, 1940 and died September 17, 2014 at Woodbury Health Care Center following a five-year illness. A retired employee of Carrier Corporation and member of the Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Helen Carroll McQueary. Mrs. Meadows was married October 13, 1982 to Charles Meadows of Smithville, TN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Michael Presley of Murfreesboro, TN and Mirandra and Craig Wyckoff of Cedar Rapids, IA; two sons, Carl Eugene Meadows and Charlie Edward Meadows both of Cedar Rapids, IA; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Helen McQueary of Smithville, TN and Betty Meadows of Viola, TN and brother-in-law, Wayne Meadows of Viola, TN. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 in High's Chapel with Keith Pedigo officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday at High's.
