Marie Nunley

McMinnville, TN resident and Tampa, FL native Marie Nunley, age 67, was born January 13, 1947 and died September 23, 2014 at her residence following a one-year illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Roman Tucker and Doretha Crofton Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Hudson; and two brothers, Ronnie and Lamar Tucker. She was married December 11, 1994 to Steve Nunley of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Dottie May, Ricky May, Jennifer Hartsfield and James May all of McMinnville, and Tammy Franklin and husband Jason of Palmer, TN; four step-children, Billy W. Nunley, Tammy Sue Nunley, Angela Nunley and Lisa Dillon all of Indiana; ten grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; two sisters, Betty Tucker of Florida and Donna Tucker of Massachusetts; and two brothers, J.L. Tucker of Knoxville, TN and Donnie Tucker of Florida. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in High's Chapel with Jeff Page officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's.
