Charles Gann

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Charles Gann, age 70, was born November 1, 1943 and died October 10, 2014 at his residence following a one-year illness. Retired from Batesville Casket Company and also a farmer, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Alvin and Hazel Heatherly Gann. He was married August 9, 1974 to Wanda Higgins Gann of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Keith Bain of Morrison, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and William Prater of McMinnville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sally Higgins of Park City, UT; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly and Larry Garrett of Morrison, TN; two nephews and their spouses, Kelly and Leah Prater of McMinnville and Randy and Heather Davis of Memphis, TN; niece, Laura Mingle and husband Kevin of McMinnville; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 in High's Chapel with Kenneth Mears and Brian Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Ivy Bluff Cemetery with military honors administered by the American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to Lunch With Love Program @ Ivy Bluff Church of Christ.
