Betty Sue West

Betty Sue West, age 81, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died October 13, 2014 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late John Edward and Alma Grace Oneal Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Shirley Ann Smithson. Mrs. West was married January 29, 1949 to Luther West who survives. She is also survived by children, Steve (Sharon) West, Becky Williams and Mark West of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Brandon (Mandy) Harris, Chad West (Melissa Pleasant) and Mica Bouldin (Jared Winfrey) of McMinnville; three great-grandchildren, Austin Harris, Savannah West and Gage Harris; niece, Beth Ann Baker of Franklin, TN; nephews, Arvin Baker of Franklin and Lee (Beverly) Baker of Drums, PA; brother-in-law, William "Blue" Smithson of Franklin. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in High's Chapel with Steve Breedlove to officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 and 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to F.C. Boyd Christian School.
