McMinnville, TN resident and Euclid, Ohio native Ronald Ralph Daus, age 82, was born October 12, 1932 and died October 18, 2014 at his residence following a sudden illness. Retired from Premier Products, Inc. located in Monroe, LA, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of the First United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late Ralph Ezra and Elizabeth Ferguson Daus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Norris Daus. He was married March 5, 1955 to Betty Sue Howell Daus of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Karen and John Raffey of McMinnville and Kimberlee Daus of Franklin, TN; four grandchildren and spouses, Brandon and Carrie Young of Gilbert, Arizona, Adam and Karen Rush of McMinnville, Pete Faison of Nashville, TN and Rebecca Faison of Memphis, TN; five great-grandchildren; nephew, Norris Edwin Daus of Brick, NJ; and niece, Sabryna Baine of Pisgah, AL. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in High's Chapel with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Viola Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
