Shirley Ann Evans

McMinnville, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Shirley Ann Evans, age 71, was born November 24, 1942 and died October 21, 2014 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired Special Education Teacher's Aide with the Warren County School System and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Whitmire Baker. She was married to Larry Evans who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by sister, Carolyn Swann; and brother, Ronnie Baker. She is survived by four children and spouses, Jimmy Evans, Alan and Angie Evans, and Kari and Chuck Cantrell all of McMinnville, and David and Missie Evans of Morrison, TN; nine grandchildren, Brandon Evans, Penny Crouch, Jamie Evans, Laci Evans, Dusty Evans, Blake Cantrell, Baylee Fults, Lucas Evans and Karlee Cantrell; four great-grandchildren, Brookelyn George, Kylie Evans, and Kyler and Lane Cantrell; brother, Randy Baker of Summitville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in High's Chapel with Carl Smith and Rick Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
